Farewell to Shannon Bevans

Shannon Bevans, one of our Board Members, is moving to the Florida Chapter. We are very sad to see her leave. Shannon has been instrumental to Spina Bifida Association of Colorado for many years. She has given so much of herself to help others with Spina Bifida. She is a phenomenal person, a great mentor, and a well respected member of the Board of Directors. We wish Shannon the best of luck! Message from the CEO / Executive Director

I am honored to be a part of this very important organization. I am here to serve individuals and families affected by Spina Bifida. I truly care about you. I want to help you meet your needs. I invite your suggestions, recommendations and requests. I also invite the public to look at our website and to donate to help those affected by Spina Bifida.

Harvest Moon

During our restructure the Harvest Moon will not be held this year. Instead, we will be celebrating Spina Bifida Awareness Month!

October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month!

The number of individuals and families affected by Spina Bifida is growing astronomically. Along with this growth is the need for us to provide more services. Although Spina Bifida affects more people than Cystic Fibrosis and Muscular Dystrophy combined it is not well known by our communities. We plan to bring an awareness of Spina Bifida, the hardships it causes, the physical limitations it imposes and the need to help and support the Spina Bifida community in Colorado and across the nation.

We invite you to celebrate with us. More details coming soon! Click here. Programs
